Q: How long have you been with the team?
A: I first joined the vikings about 7/8 years ago, seems like a life time ago but by far was the best decision I made, as someone who’d never played sports before it truly has made a world of difference to me.
Q:How much rugby experience did you have before joining?
A: had never played prior to the vikings, as most gay people I never thought sports would be my thing but how wrong I was
Q: What were the major factors that pushed you to join the team?
A: main factors for initially joining we’re 100% about getting into fitness and making friends and I’ve never looked back since, every year the firndship circle gets bigger
Q: Since you’ve become a Viking, what’s been your favourite memory/memories so far?
A: my best memory has to be getting to play in the principality stadium twice since joining and even scoring two tries but apart from that every game we play together as a team is a favourite memory.
Q: Can you give 3 pieces of advice to anyone on the fence about joining the Vikings or their local inclusive team?
A: my 3 pieces of advice would be 1, don’t think to much about it other wise you’ll worry yourself from coming along as I put it off for a while when there’s nothing to worry about, 2 you don’t need experience, just the attitude to want to learn and enjoy rugby with other people in the same boat as you and 3 be prepared to get muddy
